The Tooth

Description:  The Mighty Tooth lives in infamy as most Seattilite's first endevour into alpine rock climbing. Its a classic climb with solid rock that provides a fun day out with a full alpine feel, despite being able to see I-90 from the whole South face route.  I've done it between committments in 4 hours and led beginning Mountaineers climbs, which is a full day out.  I also enjoy the slightly less traveled SW face, which is slightly more difficult than the south face, but similarly fun, though slightly less asthetic. Adding snow to the approach can simplify or complicate the approach depending on the experience of the party. I love doing it as a fun ski in to get the full value experience.
