Icefall Lodge - Interior BC - Backcountry Ski lodge

 

Description: Icefall Lodge is a Heli-in backcountry lodge that is home of big alpine terrain and sub alpine pillow lines. The terrain has plenty to chose from for all skill levels. During the prime months, bookings come complete with their guides, which take some of the stress out, but does limit how you explore the place.  The Chef ( Matt) is amazing and this trip was a excellent escape.  In 2018 on our trip, we had an extended period of artic temps with no new snow and high alpine winds - the best skiing was way down valley in the 7-sins.  These were 1500' lines of good fall line skiing, but did have a high price with a 2000' skin back to the lodge at the end of the day
