Burgundy Spire - North Face

Description:  I did Burgundy Spire's North Face in 2012,  It was a fun adventure climb that had lots of options and some sections of questionsable rock and Sandy ledges.  But the few sections of more continous climbing were protectable and on good rock.   Generally you follow the path of lead resistence up to an obvious large ledge system several pitches up. Then you follow the ledge around right to the base of another slabby headwall.  This section was a chose your own adventure looking for good pro 'til I was at the base of the obvious offwidth crach next to the chimney.  The top pitch is excellent and the summit is rad.  Fairly reasonable day trip, though camping at the col and adding some other routes for a weekend is a great option.

Looking back towards the upper pitches, we followed the chimney/ offwidth in the middle of the screen.

Here you can see the majority of the route. Starts towards the left and ends at the summit in the middle of the screen.
