West Shore Ridgeline ( Rubicon, Hidden Peak, Jakes)

Description: 

I traveled to North Tahoe on MLK of 2017 with little knowledge of the backcountry. After asking around and doing some research - team awesome settled on the West Shore Ridgeline which is located near the Emerald Bay gate closure and made up of four distinct summits ( the three named ones are Rubicon, Hidden Peak, and Jake's Peak)  Jake's and Rubicon are the two primary because of ease of access.  Eventually we settled on Rubicon for its more north facing slopes and potential for less tracks.  It did not disappoint and we managed 3 full laps on playful pow and terrain.

Once at the top it seam that any East to North facing slopes provide sheltered pow.
