Nockamixon

Description: I grew up in Philly, but didn't get into mountain biking until I had left and my whole immediate family also moved wes.  So I rarely retuned.  My little sister did move back a few years ago so it was great to get a chance to do some riding when I visited in November of 2016 and we went to Nockamixon State park.  Apparently its essentially a game reserve so Sunday is the day to go when hunting isn't allowed. The trail network is about 10 miles of trails with several shorter loops that can be done.  Its mostly easy and moderate trails with fun XC flow and limited climbing, but does roll. The magic gnomes of Nockamixon roam the forest, maintaining the trails and keeping evil at bay.
