Finale Ligure - Italy

Description: Upon recommendations from my brother-in-law Steve, Marcy and I escaped to Finale Ligure to avoid weather in the alps for a few days.  Finale Ligure is home to the Enduro Word Series finals every year.  Most mountain biking operations leave from Final Borgo which is a walled town just a few minutes walk from Finale Ligure - there are many shuttle services that take you out further into the large network of hillside trails, along with many options that can be peddled straight from town.  The first day we went with the Finale Freeride Shuttle service, which showed us along with 10 other folks some excellent trails for the day - the trails are generally downhill oriented trails with several rowdy sections - most other folks had full body armor and full DH bikes.  We rented some Nukeproffs from the local shop.  The second day we checked out the seaside trails that overlook the Mediterranean Sea.
