Concord - North Face

Description:  Concord, although being one of the smaller summits has some enjoyable climbing.  The routes are typically shorter, but since a few start from the same point as the Liberty Bell Becky Route they make for a nice link-up or audible on a busy day.  Dave Vanluvanee and I climbed the North Face route 8.9.08.  At this point we were both in the intermediate Mountaineering class and we had done all of our alpine climbs alongside more experienced climb leaders.  This was particularly special since it was our fledgling climb where we left the nest of safety and ventured off onto a new route by ourselves.  The route is three pitches,  the first follows an obvious weakpoint up and right from the liberty bell concord notch,  The second has a gradual traverse left with one move that was a bit more technical than the rest of the route, and then a short final summit crack.
